      Spoiler

      Seemed pretty obvious.
Better “left” unsaid, I think there “fore” I am. Left Door / Number 4.

        There’s one hint that I don’t understand:

        Spoiler

“The snake (if that’s what it is) and nearby branches seem to form characters.” What’s that about? The snake could be a lowercase e, I guess? The sticks look like an l, I, or /, followed by an H or N?

I think the snake is an 8 then the / is divided by then the two sticks are 2. So 8/2 = 4

Has any yet worked out the full path from the beginning to the end of the labyrinth? I am mapping it out as I go along and I have been able to make it as far as Room 30 (plus Rooms 46 and 47). I can’t find a way to get beyond Room 30.

              Spoiler: Linking Rooms between sections

I assume like the first batch of rooms, from 1 to 16, you have to find the one room that does not have an obviously labeled door that will take you to the next series of rooms. Room 2 begins the process of leading you to the next batch of rooms from 17 to 30 (as well as 14 and 15). But I haven’t found a Room that leads to the Rooms 31 to 45.

Spoiler: The style of the text

It’s interesting to note, there is a subtle indication when you move one from the first series of rooms to the second and then from the second to the third. The script at the bottom of the text page changes. In series one it’s Latin, series two Arabic, and series three Chinese (I think). This even carries over to Rooms 47 which is reached  by the first series of rooms and so its text is Latin and 46 which is reached by the second series and its text is Arabic.

It’s also interesting to note that the text is not actually words in those languages but is rather written using their various styles. The text includes an English word on each page, regardless of the style of language used.
