what am I supposed to do next to open portal??

I’m pretty sure that concludes the final puzzle. According the the text, placing these items on the pedestals unlocks the portal. If you haven’t already, you can still find out where the portal leads to (and what the journey through the maze represents).

I haven’t figured out where it leads to, perhaps Heaven. Any hints??

Each room mentioned shares objects and if theise objects are connected example is that in room 2 there’s a hand and a candle which can also be seen in room 5 the pillars and artifacts form a arrow pointing at a mural of a hanging man the maze is a symbol of death

even the front cover is an inverted pyramid where dead Pharos would be buried
