Have this solved by deduction, but still can’t understand the “why”? Not understanding the purpose of the crown sceptre, horshoes and knight helm
CypherSpoilerMy best guess is that it’s a chess puzzle. The knight’s helmet and the horseshoes could be representing two different knight chess pieces, and similarly the king’s crown and the scepter could be representing two different king pieces. If you notice, the helm, horseshoes, and crown are all shaded dark, perhaps representing the black side, while the scepter is white, making it a lone white king versus three of black’s pieces. If the horseshoes move to the white square in front of Door 36, it places the white king/scepter in checkmate assuming that this floor is all there is to the board. Three pieces right next to 36 suggest that 36 is the right way to go.
At least, that’s how I’ve been interpreting it.
[collapse]npsAh.. I was getting the chess angle but didn’t know what to do with it. I figure since I knew i came from room 43, that was out. The srory talked about paw prints and not following the culprit. You can clearly see a leg and foot in the doorway of 33. The paw prints scratch the sides of two paintings, which are both square. If you count all the sides of the tiles on the bottom floor, it equals 36.
RoseSpoilerAlso there are three scratches on the left wall and six on the right so 36
[collapse]MikeSpoilerHg on the wall is a symbol for mercury, on the opposite wall is a mercury thermometer, natural temperature of our body is 36 degrees.
