• If our guide here did actually touch the gold and cave in to his desire for treasure he would likely become a Fafnir like the Icelandic story where Fafnir the strongest of three Dwarf sons of Hreidmar  ended up cursed by the gold and turned into a dragon
• but he did see the obvious  painting of Odin sitting on his throne point towards his spear to room 8 not only that but of the right of door 8 is a rune
